Proceeds from the 2011 Champions of Health Gala benefit The
Oklahoma Caring Foundation

Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing children access
to preventive health services including free immunizations through the
Caring Vans.
Established in 1994, the foundation is funded by community contributions and administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma as an in-kind donation. The Oklahoma Caring Foundation's flagship program is the Caring Vans, which provides free immunizations to children across the state. The Caring Vans serve children and families who encounter barriers to immunizations such as transportation and cost.
Through the efforts of dedicated staff and funders, the Caring Vans have delivered more than 171,000 vaccines to 81,715 underserved children statewide since 1999. The Caring Vans are improving the health of Oklahoma one child at a time.
