Objective of Awards
To recognize individuals, health care professionals, government officials and for-profit and non-profit organizations working to make a difference in the health of Oklahoma communities while facilitating community parnerships to work toward improving Oklahoma's health.

Judging
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) conducts preliminary screenings of all Champions of Health nominations. Entries will not be forwarded to the judges if any of the nominations requirements are not met. Please note that each entry may be entered only in one category (see list below).

Nominators also will be notified if the entry does not pass the screening process.

A panel of health care industry professionals will judge the Champions of Health nominations. Award determinations will be made collectively by the judges.

One overall "Rodney L. Huey, M.D. Memorial Champion of Oklahoma Health" award will be chosen from all entries. The winner of this top honor receives a $2,500 contribution to support continued efforts to improve Oklahoma's health.
